John Kresevic is a successful mortgage industry specialist who is currently working as a loan officer at Forthright Funding in Scottsdale, Arizona. He spent seven years with Quicken Loan, having joined the company shortly after graduating from Arizona State University in 2008.
He is a dedicated and success-oriented professional who says that personal integrity and hard work are intangibles that can be experienced but not really measured. But he has committed himself to being the most well-rounded professional that he can be, one with a thorough understanding of his business and the needs of his clients.
John Kresevic understands the interconnected nature of the world, and how a seemingly unrelated event in a far-flung country can have an impact on what he does. "I am interested in current World events and what is going on geopolitical events such as the current crisis in Ukraine, as well as ISIS in the middle east -–not just what is going on, but specifically how it will impact us five or ten years down the road," he says. "Every event is a chain reaction to other events and that to me is fascinating."
Events in the Ukraine, as he knows, seem to change almost on a daily basis. It began in the fall of 2013 when the Ukrainian government decided not to sign the agreement with the European Union, a trade and political agreement that would have committed the Ukraine to certain European values and principles. In Iraq, remnants of Al Qaeda reformed into ISIS, which gained the support of the Sunni Muslims after the country's Shiite leaders treated them poorly. ISIS stands for Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, and it wants to create a single, unified Sunni state.
